Carol has been a practising painter and ceramic artist since 1993 when she was a founder member of the Island Studio in Rugby town centre. Here she painted, ran workshops and had her work permanently on show. At the same time she worked on ceramics in her workshop at home, until she joined the Pottery at Hatton Country World near Warwick for a time from 1997-98. When that moved premises she once more decided to work from home (Hillside Pottery, Rugby.)

As an active member of the Midland Potters Association, Tantalus Project, Rugby & District Art Society and Rugby Craft Association, Carol's work is frequently exhibited locally, and can be seen at Craft Fayres and Sales. She also holds workshops for the general public in pottery, painting, linoprinting and monoprinting.

Carol has a National Diploma in Art and Design, and various Diplomas in Ceramics, including City and Guilds, Open College Network, EMFEC and EMFEC Advanced.
